Income Limitations

USDA Home Loans

There are income limitations when you apply for a USDA home loan. If your home is in a geographic area that qualifies for the loan credit, your current yearly income must not exceed the limit set by the USDA for your county. Income limitation and location are not the only criteria that you should qualify in order to get the loan. Once you meet these two requirements, the final decision is based on your credit history. USDA does not have a stringent credit score guideline but a strict evaluation of credit history. They want to make sure that borrower is able to meet the repayment obligations.
